This is a popular trend in the fitness world today. Functional training takes every day movements and simulates them into helpful exercises! So whether it’s losing weight or trimming and toning, my program will improve your health and have you feeling great. You’ll see an improvement in your performance in no time.
FLEXIBILITY WITH STRETCHING
Working out is great, but consistent training tightens the muscles as you continue to build strength. Before any work out and post work out, stretching is important to keep the body loose and limber. On a down day, stretching as the workout is just as important as the workout itself. Continual stretching will allow better range of motion, help prevent injuries, and allow your body to move in a more fluid motion. I stretch WITH my clients.
CARDIO FITNESS
Cardio isn't just about losing weight! Our bodies need to circulate blood, breath in new oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, build bone density, expand the lungs and strengthen the heart to decrease health issues and force our bodies to move the way they should! Getting into the habit of taking brisk walks and/or bike rides will help you on your way to feeling healthier and more active.
